I run two businesses; I've had five concussions and two falls flat on my back, which is a lot of head trauma. By the time I met Mary, my short-term memory was gone, my childhood dyslexia was back, and I could no longer do math in my head, a horrible situation for a businesswoman!
It was quite embarrassing not to remember people's names or randomly loose words and my train of thought, but not having the math was the worst. None of my associates pulled out their phones to use their calculators; Shame is a strong motivator. Anyway, I went through the whole brain integration program and found I had more problems than I thought; the testing was very thorough. As of today, I am clear of dyslexia, and not only can I see numbers in my head, but I can do the math! It's like I can breathe again. I feel like my old self, and it is such a relief.
