Helen Hsu E-RYT200

Helen is a Helen HsuCertified in Core Vinyasa Strength Yoga (with Sadie Nardini) and Kid Power Yoga (with Mariam Gates).  In addition to her yoga studio work, she is currently volunteering at the Toms River Community Center, providing yoga therapy (body awareness and breath work) to oncology and cardiology patients.  From 2010 to 2011 she taught yoga to the deaf and hearing impaired.  Helen left the world of high finance and high impact aerobics, running and the like when she was introduced to yoga and was immediately “hooked”. She modifies her teaching to address the needs of the students in her class, emphasizing proper alignment and linking breath with each pose.  Helen embraces the yoga principle that life is a journey: the goal is not to arrive but to be in a continual state of arriving. She is constantly growing and learning not only from her yoga practice but also from her yoga students. In addition to yoga Helen is a photographer making art of the beauty she finds through her lenses.
